Now this is a turn up for the books, a rainbow trout at 2lb 8oz caught from peg 16 on the Kenn, long pole and double red maggot. We suspect it is an escapee from Jacklands Trout Fishery in Tickenham and made its way down the stream and onto Nailsea Moor before finally reaching the Kenn.

Young anglers Guy Clement and Connor Smith had a nice session on the Kenn today (9th July). A small carp put in a surprise appearance.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of our long serving member Brian Hobson who loved fishing the River Kenn in all winds and weather. Brian lost his long battle with cancer. Our sincere condolences to his family.

The Clubs annual Charity Match which is open to anyone (i.e. non members) will take place on Saturday 18th July on the River Kenn. Draw is at 08:30 in Kenn Rd Car Park with fishing 10:00 – 15:30. £20 all in.
